ABOUT CHEF DAN

Executive Chef Daniel Mexecutive chef Daniel Mumau of A Catered Affair Las Vegasumau Started his career in food service in 1981.  Since his start in the industry he has served in the U.S. Army where he won numerous awards in culinary competitions and competed at the national level in 1987 winning the ACF Award of Merit and the prestigious Judges Award.
After serving in the Army Chef Dan enrolled at the C.I.A. (Cullinary Institute of America), regarded as the top culinary school in the Unite States.
He moved to Las Vegas in 1989 upon graduation and started with with various world famous Las Vegas resorts, the Las Vegas Convention Center and Canyon Gate Country Club before starting A Catered Affair in 1996.
